Four-hour morning city-tour of the traditional and modern capital of the Sultanate of Oman, Muscat.

The tour begins with a visit to Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - one of the largest in the world. It has the most extensive carpet in the world and is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. (The Grand Mosque is open to visitors between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. every day except Friday and public holidays. When visiting the Grand Mosque men should wear trousers, not shorts. Women should wear ankle-length, longs-sleeved clothes with no vents or slits. Women should cover their heads and clothes should loose-fitting and not transparent).

Visit the Beit Al Zubair museum and the famous Mattrah Souq - one of the oldest markets in Oman - where you will have free time to buy souvenirs and gifts. The market is located at the ancient sea-front promenade Corniche, on a bay which ships visited from every part of the world and where two Portuguese forts, Jalali and Mirani, have stood watch for centuries. Then, take advantage of a photo opportunity near the Al Alam Palace, Sultan Qaboos Bin Said working residence.
