Jeep-tour to Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid

One of the most fascinating, full-day 4WD-tours providing a unique opportunity to enjoy a jeep-safari in the desert Wahiba Sands and visit Omans greatest oasis - Wadi Bani Khalid.

 In the morning leave for the jeep-tour to the desert. Wahiba Sands is famous for its multi-coloured sand which varies from black to honey-golden and even to white. Our experienced driver will show you his sand dune-driving skills. During the winter the Bani Wahiba Bedouin tribes live here in the desert. Their traditional houses can be seen after an adrenaline-fuelled  jeep-safari across 150-metre dunes.

 Afterwards, proceed via a mountain road to the colourful oasis at Wadi Bani Khalid, located between the desert and rocky mountains. White rocks frame the oasis and lakes of turquoise water invite you to take a dip. There is also the Mogul cave famed for its legendary motif: Open Sesame! Enjoy your time in the oasis before returning to Muscat.
