Jeep-tour along the Eastern Coastline
A full-day 4WD-tour along the eastern coastline of the Arabian peninsula. Enjoy views of the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Oman and visit the famous White Beaches and oasis in Wadi.
Arrive at the fishing village of Quriyat known for its fish market and also the ancient fort constructed by the Portuguese at the mouth of the bay. Proceed along the azure blue sea to the unique Bima Sinkhole. It is 30 metres in depth, its base filled with sea water. Continue along the way to the next stop at the valley of Wadi Shaab a picturesque oasis boasting fresh, emerald-coloured pools among the mountains. You can take a walk deep into the oasis and relax under the palm trees. Near Wadi Shaab there is another beautiful mountain oasis Wadi Tiwi. The road runs for some kilometres deep into the oasis, where small, local villages are hidden in the palm green surroundings. The locals here are engaged in small-plantation agriculture and the falaj system (ancient irrigation channels) is still in operation. Continue your drive and arrive at one of the many unspoiled beaches with the whitest sand. Here, you can take a rest or enjoy swimming in the ocean. Finally, return to Muscat
