Day 1
Day 1
Muscat – Wadi Shab – Wahiba Sands
In the morning, meet your Russian-speaking guide and set off on an adventurous 4x4 jeep tour.
Travel through the mountains toward the coastal village of Quriyat, then continue along the azure coastline. Soon, stop at the Bimmah Sinkhole — a unique natural limestone depression 30 meters deep, filled with seawater in striking shades of turquoise.
Next, explore the breathtaking gorge of Wadi Shab, a mountain oasis with crystal-clear freshwater pools and dramatic rocky cliffs. Those who wish can trek deeper into the canyon to reach a hidden subterranean cave with a small waterfall — a true natural wonder.
Nearby lies another oasis — Wadi Tiwi, where the road winds several kilometers into the valley. Here, traditional villages are tucked among palm groves, and locals continue to cultivate crops on small plantations using the ancient falaj irrigation system.
Continue your journey to the magnificent Wahiba Sands Desert, famed for its multi-colored dunes that shift from black to golden honey to silvery white as you move across the landscape from inland to the coast.
Arrive at your luxury desert camp. In the evening, enjoy a tranquil moment by the campfire under a starlit sky, surrounded by the profound silence of the desert.
Dinner and overnight at Desert Nights Resort (or similar).

Along the way, stop at the oasis village of Birkat Al Mouz, known for its ancient ruins, traditional falaj irrigation system, and Bayt al Ridaydah Fort. From there, ascend the mountain road to the summit of Jebel Akhdar, where crisp air and panoramic views await.
